Before you open a catalogue, you can filter the results by frame number, engine number, VIN, color code, year, model, model code, production code, and country. In most cases, entering one or more criteria can narrow a search from hundreds of catalogues or models to a few or even a single model.
Use filters individually or in combination. You could, for example, enter a frame/engine number plus a model year or a VIN plus a country. However, if you enter a frame/engine number plus a VIN, the EPC will filter on the frame/engine number and ignore the VIN you entered.
The EPC (version 1.7) has been developed to make searching parts catalogs quick and easy. It allows you to view numbered illustrations and automatically displays information about the selected item.
You can compile quotes from a saved list of parts and display the current prices in local currency or Euros.
Parts catalogues are supplied on CD-ROM. Price lists are supplied on 3.5" diskettes. The EPC uses both these media to compile accurately priced quotes for any given list of parts. Quotes, parts lists, and illustrations can be printed and saved for future reference.
You can also add notes to electronic parts catalogues using the EPC’s Notes feature. Any notes you create are automatically displayed the next time that part is selected.
